This Native American bag would have been presented to a worthy man as a symbol of honor. It was made by the Anishiaabeg people, who crafted it from a cotton flour sack and added decorative beadwork. Its name, “bandolier bag,” literally means "worn across the shoulder," which is how it would be carried.
