"Happiness doesn’t come from what we get, but from what we give."
- Ben Carson
Looking for a thoughtful hostess gift, a keepsake from your trip or a unique birthday surprise? Why not consider the many delightful options available through the Museum Store? We have curated an impressive set of regional specialties, handmade crafts, and intriguing books about the fascinating history of this area.
Your gift purchase will actually give twice: once to delight and impress the person to whom you give it, and a second time as it provides financial support to the Museum.
Store Highlight
Turkeys aren't the only birds starring this November. We have a new shipment of Motawi tiles, carved shorebirds from Tom Harrison, wildlife photography from Joan Pearce, and finally a wooden turkey from Sharp Custom Creations. Not to worry, as always, everything is Michigan-made, which means none of these birds are an invasive species.
It’s chilly this January, so let’s snuggle with some wool friends and blankets. Candice Spees of Cedarville and Mary Jo Matson of St.Ignace are two talented crocheters whose works are available at Michigan Made. Candice makes all types of stuffed friends for little ones, and Mary Jo has a wide array of wool baby blankets and winter wear.
Here are just a few of unique Michigan made items you can find in our Museum Store, located at 330 N. State Street:
local history and children’s books
one-of-a-kind jewelry
garden decor
hand-crafted soaps and lotions
replicas of portraits in the McKenney & Hall Collection
