Glass Bottle

$500.00

According to books in St. Ignace Public Library, LaRocque's Drug Store was one of the pioneer businesses in the city. Eustache and Leo LaRocque ran the store for many years until Jim took over in 1948. The photographs show the old store, which merged three storefronts into one. This bottle is marked with the LaRocque name. It also shows that the store at one point was part of the Rexall brand, which began in 1903 and was licensed to more than 12,000 drug stores across the United States.
