Souvenir Glass Set

$500.00

Mackinac Island souvenirs were just as popular in the 1800s as they are today. However, they were made while the visitor waited, with more attention to detail than the imported goods being hawked today. This miniature set of glasses and matching pitcher held memories for Mrs. L Goudreau. She apparently visited the Island on August 16, 1897 and had her souvenirs engraved while she waited! "Aunt Jane," as she is know in St. Ignace, still has descendants living in town to this day.
