Message in a Glass Bottle

$1,000.00

Here's our version of the infamous "message in a bottle." This small bottle was most likely used to hold medicine. When it came into our collection, there was a note inside. The note read: "This medicine bottle was recovered in 1962 from the Wm. Barnum, a sail and steam vessel; sunk in 1893 five miles southeast of Mackinaw City in 70 feet of water. The contents - probably iodine - have been replaced by water." Who wrote the message? Who owned the bottle? Who knows!
